What:
SitBoxing Warrior (SBW) is a full workout regimen using a chair. It uses seated movements and level changes to strengthen and lengthen the body and limbs in a dynamic workout. SBW borrows from Boxing, Dance, Kickboxing, Karate, Yoga, Battle Choreography as well as everyday movement. Always keeping in mind to use the core as a powerhouse for movement, the work focuses on proper alignment and placement as a training method.
Motivating music and rhythms are part of the package to make it more fun and continuous. The repetition of a movement also improves endurance. An additional benefit to using rhythm is that it increases the overall range of motion and fluidity of movement actions.
Why:
SBW offers simple coordination of mind-body integration due to the use of upper body / lower body combinations as well as oppositional movements. It is great for releasing stress levels.
SitBoxing offers such benefits as increased strength, better balance, improves coordination, relieves stress, boosts energy, burns calories, and builds confidence. Furthermore, evidence shows that this type of exercise has a positive effect, not only on the duration, but also on the quality of sleep.
Who:
Everyone can benefit from SitBoxing Warrior. From beginner to advanced, we encourage people of all levels and abilities to still try this work. We offer and encourage methods to modify the movements and find the essence of an exercise so that it can work to the individual's best ability.

If you miss a week or need to start a few weeks in, we have you covered. Sabatino will be teaching the classes, each class is recorded (Sabatino and Suzanne only) and uploaded to YouTube. The links will be sent weekly so that you can practice daily.
We encourage you to go at your own pace, Look for subtle improvements and workout everyday -
Where:
We will meet you weekly on Zoom - so tune in from anywhere! The links are sent out weekly. SBW can be viewed on a large TV, laptop, tablet or phone. FYI - a large screen gives you the best visibility to see the instructor and the movements.
All you need is a flat-seated sturdy chair with enough space to lunge, plank and stretch your arms and legs to the sides.

Who:
Everyone can enjoy this, from beginners to advanced. It can be modified for seated participants as well.
What:
You will experience movement in many forms. This workshop will introduce you to dance as exercise. Each week you will increase your movement range, learn proper technique, strengthen your core and there may even be some sweat going on. 🙂 (occasionally Suzanne may lead a short relaxation flow at the closing of class).
Motivating music is part of the package too, so be prepared to let the music move you while improving in endurance, range of motion and fluidity of movement phrasing.

The act of “standing and sitting” with good posture is one of the best ways to help ourselves move in the direction of good health and a fit body. It is also something that we can do for ourselves and integrate into our daily lives. Let's get stronger, stand, sit, walk and run better. Throughout these workshops you will learn how to stack your spine, move with good posture, stretch and be ready to move at any given moment. Just like the wheels of a car, the better aligned we are, the better performance and less wear and tear on the other parts of the body.
Over the course of a workshop you will experience a full body workout. Each week we will add a new movement series or phrase. Our teacher comes to you with over 40 years experience, he will teach you fundamentals and proper technique to safely move to create a fit body, thoughtful mind and peaceful soul.
Our follow along fun filled format will certainly get you going for your day. You’ll train with good alignment and the workout will uplift your body, mind and mood. We all need reminders to release stress, breathe fully, lengthen and engage the core.
You will receive a recording of the teacher each week! Practice required throughout the week to see fully realized results.
