This is a perfect workout class for 45+ adults (but can be done by anyone) By using a chair, bench or a wheelchair you can workout fully without putting strain on sensitive knees, lower back, ankles and feet.
This beginner level seated workout class focuses on proper alignment while targeting core strength, flexibility and creating new neuromuscular connections in the brain. When you increase your range of motion, you’ll be able to handle daily life and events more easily, physically and mentally.
All the exercises have a follow-along format, are set to inspiring music and can be done in any size space. This is a household activity so ‘pull up a chair’ for everyone - spouses, parents, grandparents and pets are all welcome.
The 45-minute class is led by a professional teacher/choreographer who’s worked with diverse populations for over 25 years. The class is co-hosted by Spike the resident Jack Russell Terrier. Celebrate Fitness, Dance and You!
